Role: Senior Business Analyst (Accounting and Reporting Specialist)

Required Skill Set:
• Minimum of 7-10 years experience working in Financial Accounting/Reporting solutions.
• Software Company experience must include hands-on experience in SDLC including creation of
• Business Requirements, Functional Solution Documents and User Guides, and experience in interacting with Developers, Solution Architects, and Software Testers for the purpose of achieving functional solution.
• Financial Institution experience must include direct contact with a software vendor, either as part of a core banking migration, selection of a core software vendor, implementation of a new core application, or creation of Business Requirements or Functional Specifications for internal bank developments.
• Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following domains Deposits – Lending, Accounting and G/L are a must.• Applicant must be able to perform detailed analysis of requirements and participate in design and documentation of viable solutions offered for said requirements.
• Experience in/exposure to Agile system development life cycle and tools.
• Experience with creating and delivering presentations to clients and internal teams.
• Experience with a workflow or process management tool.
• Experience in a multi-cultural office working with offshore resources is a plus.
• Applicant must be willing to travel internationally although travel should not exceed 15-20% of time.
• Bi-lingual, Vietnamese and English is a must
Job Description:
• Participate in client requirement discussions to facilitate identifying functional gaps.
• Document Business Requirements definition for strategic and customer enhancements.
• Write software Functional Solution Documents and ensure that best design practices and usability principles are applied.
• Investigate problems independently and through collaboration with Product Team, Development Teams, Implementation Consultants, Compliance, and Project Managers to bring to a resolution.
• Perform and execute Proof-of-Concept for Complex requirements.
• Break down complex client requirements into meaningful components and identify any cross-dependencies.
• Liaise with Developers, Solution Architects, QA, and Software Testers to ensure solution objectives are met.
• Provide accurate estimates on work effort needed to complete Functional Solution Document requirements.
• Conduct client and internal walkthroughs on proposed functional solution designs and determine if changes are needed based on feedback from these walkthroughs.
• Verify all documents and tasks are completed and updated in accordance with Temenos Quality• Management System (QMS) in preparation for audits conducted by the QMS team.
• Liaise with the Documentation Team to ensure the delivered functional solution is adequately documented.
• Build business workflows for complex solutions.
• Learn new enhancements introduced in the CORE Banking software in corresponding vertical.
• Develop and deliver presentations on selected topics both internally and externally, as necessary
