ITSS Global proudly announces the successful go-live of Banco do Nosso Futuro (BNF), marking the public launch of Timor-Leste’s first private bank with entirely Timorese capital. The project, implemented on-premises using Temenos Transact (R24), represents a significant milestone in the nation’s financial sector transformation.

Back in September 2024, Banco do Nosso Futuro selected Temenos Transact among eleven competing vendors, with ITSS Global serving as the prime implementation partner. The partnership aimed to establish a modern, scalable, and customer-centric banking platform capable of supporting both retail and corporate banking operations. Within a remarkably short period, BNF achieved full operational readiness — culminating in its official public launch on 4th September 2025.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by H.E. José Ramos-Horta, President of the Republic; H.E. Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, Prime Minister; and H.E. Hélder Lope, Governor of the Central Bank of Timor-Leste. The event featured the symbolic opening of the first bank account by the President, the signing of the commemorative plaque, and the inaugural ribbon cutting and building blessing — all marking the historic debut of a financial institution envisioned to strengthen Timor-Leste’s economic resilience and independence.
