Information Technology Solutions and Services – ITSS, a renowned global banking software integrator and solutions provider with twenty-three worldwide offices and over two decades of experience, announced the successful completion of a Temenos Transact upgrade project at Citadele banka (Citadele), Latvia.

Citadele aims to become a modern banking platform for the Baltics. To support its strategy the Bank has been relying on technology and Temenos Transact, the most successful and widely used digital core-banking solution in the world.

The core banking system was upgraded from release Temenos Transact R19 to R22. The project started in March 2023 and went live in January 2024, allowing for a break for the holidays. The project was completed by ITSS consultants working from offshore with the Bank’s project team in Latvia.

The activities included converting the existing data to Transact R22, retrofitting local developments for Transact R22 compatibility, converting interfaces, installing R22 packs, checking COB compatibility, and conducting training. The ITSS project team supported the Bank’s team for SIT (Standard unit testing), and UAT (user acceptance testing). After the Bank went live, ITSS consultants stood by for post go-live support.
